Valentine is a Tripawd

Valentine–20 Months, Happy Valentine’s Day

October 17th, 2016 · 9 Comments · Uncategorized

Valentine is 20 months post-op for Osteosarcoma.  She is doing very well and we are so happy she is with us.  She is on a bunch of holistic stuff, gets chiro adjustments, acupuncture, and low dose of tramadol in case she is in any pain.  Her hopping has become increasingly more loping but overall she has a very nice life. She still chases squirrels around our back yard with classic collie verve and with a little bit of help gets up and down our back stairs out into her yard.  Here is her photo in our backyard.

Everyday is Valentine’s Day here.

We love all dogs and have a mixed husky/smooth coat collie we adore, but collies are special, as you know. Valentine is just plain full of grace.

Valentine gets chinese herbs from her acupuncturist, and Appocaps, K9 Immunity Plus, K9 Full Flex and salmon oil. Not sure what is in the chinese herbs. She eats a home cooked diet of organic oats, ground beef, broccoli, and a supplement powder of bone meal and other nutrients. She also gets a few spoons of organic yogurt daily.
